About Klein Theatre Arts

Proceeds from The Klein Cup Regatta will benefit The Klein Foundation. The Foundation will use these funds to help expand the arts in Bridgeport by elevating The Klein Theatre Arts Program and developing a fund to create a more robust repertoire of renowned artists and performing arts.

Klein Theatre Arts enters its 11th year!

If you are familiar with The Klein, you know that Klein Theatre Arts is the cornerstone of our education efforts. With the help of grants and contributions from individuals like you, this tuition-free arts program for Bridgeport youth has continuously expanded over the years.

In 2013, KTA began as a singing and acting program. Since then it has diversified its disciplines to also include Klein Dance Company, Video Production, West African Drum & Dance, Visual Arts, and paid internships where our Stagecraft students work backstage at Klein events. Your support of this program means that more Bridgeport teens can experience the benefits of arts education, which has been mostly eliminated from public school budgets.

Klein Theatre Arts is always looking to create more opportunities for the young people in our community and to expose more students to the arts. In 2021, KTA began the FREE Master Class Workshop Series featuring arts industry professionals in several fields including Voiceover Work, Training Animals for Film & TV, Music Composition, and more.
